The richest loot in Weavereach sits behind the nastiest guards. Knowing who those guards are — and where they sit on the food chain — is how you decide what’s worth fighting and what to walk around.

This page breaks down the forces of Mistfall Hunter, from the dead gods at the top to the twisted Corroded you’ll fight on every run.

Loot guarded by the Corroded and Mist Lords

Supreme Gods vs Outer Gods

The whole world is downstream of one war: the Supreme Gods against the Outer Gods.

This was an epic war, and it ended in Ragnarok. Nearly all of the deities died. Their blood turned into the corrupting Gyldenmist that now sweeps across the land. So the two original factions aren’t around to fight anymore — but their corpses and their blood created everything you do fight. See the World & Lore page for the full backstory.

The Corroded

The Corroded are the standard enemies of Weavereach.

These are the beings the Gyldenmist twisted. The fog distorts souls and drives the remaining beings into madness and mutation, and the result is the Corroded — the monsters you hunt on every run. They’re what you kill to harvest Gyldenblod, and they’re the first line of defense around any worthwhile loot.

When the official site says treasure is “guarded by the Corroded,” this is who it means: the everyday horrors of the fog.

Mist Lords (Loot Guardians)

Mist Lords are the boss-tier guardians, and they sit on the best rewards in the game.

Rich treasures lie in the ruins, guarded by the Corroded “or even terrifying Mist Lords.” That “even” matters — a Mist Lord is a step above a normal enemy. These are the high-risk, high-reward fights. Beating one is how you claim the treasures it protects, and the boss-challenge system lets you take them on Normal or Chaos difficulty in Solo or Trio.

Mist Lords guard the best loot in the ruins. They’re the high-risk path — and the high-reward one.

The first confirmed Mist Lord is General Harald. For his full fight breakdown, see General Harald, and for how the boss-challenge system works overall, see Bosses & Mist Lords.

Combat against the fallen heroes of Weavereach

Demigods, the False God & the Divine Anchor

Above even the Mist Lords sit the biggest threats in the world.

To clear your path, you’ll have to eliminate everything from the terrifying Corroded, to fallen legendary heroes, to epic demigods. These are the top of the threat ladder — the leftover power of a world where gods used to walk.

A few named forces fall into this tier:

  • False God — a rising divine threat tied to the Solemn Needles map. The official framing is that “the rise of a false god looms,” and players take it on in the Witchery Woods area of that map.
  • Divine Anchor — a relic/entity in Solemn Needles. It’s described as a relic that draws enemy hordes, which makes it a hotspot as much as a landmark. It’s also your first encounter on that map.
  • Hastine’s Fall — the corpse of a colossal divine being, still radiating the power of the gods that killed it. More a place than an enemy, but it shows the scale of what died here.

For the full layout of where these sit, see Solemn Needles.
