Overview / Fantasy
The Shadowstrix is the stealth assassin — “this rogue class goes invisible, drains enemy stamina, and counters healing abilities.” It’s the high-risk, high-reward pick: “Shadowstrix offers the most challenging but potentially rewarding playstyle for experienced players.”
The loop is pure flank-and-vanish: “slipping into an enemy flank, unleashing a flurry of dagger strikes or dual-blade combos, then vanishing before retaliation.” When it works, it’s lethal — and the class’s “high skill ceiling and sheer fun factor keep them firmly in A Tier.”

Playstyle & Strengths
- Stealth burst. Go invisible, flank, and unload dagger or dual-blade combos before anyone can react.
- Lethal toolkit. “Lethal burst and stealth toolkit” makes you a constant pick-off threat.
- Stamina drain. You sap enemy stamina, leaving targets unable to block or escape.
- Anti-heal. You “counter healing abilities,” which makes you a hard answer to support comps.
- High skill ceiling. The better you play, the scarier you get.
Weaknesses
The Shadowstrix is “slightly more gear-dependent than Sorcerers,” so a weak loadout shows. It’s also the hardest class in the game to pilot — it “demands quick reactions, precise positioning, and a good grasp of when to engage or retreat.” Blow the timing on your engage or your vanish and you’re a squishy melee with no escape. This is not a beginner class.
Abilities & Archetypes
Like every class, the Shadowstrix has two archetypes — built around daggers and dual-blades — each with different weapons and exclusive talents. The shared kit revolves around invisibility, stamina drain, and anti-healing, all in service of the flank → burst → vanish loop.
Recommended Build & Talents
Talents are reassignable, so tune to your engage pattern.
- Assassin burst: Stack damage and the dagger/dual-blade combo enablers to delete a target in one window, then prioritize the tools that let you vanish cleanly.
- Anti-support tech: In trio fights, lean on stamina drain and heal-counter talents to neuter enemy Seers.
- General rule: Gear matters — invest in your weapon. Then build for burst and escape, not for sustained fighting; you should never be in a prolonged brawl.
See Builds & Talents for the shared system.
PvP & PvE Notes
The Shadowstrix is a PvP terror — you flank, drain stamina, and shut down healers. You also counter the Sorcerer cleanly by closing into their one weakness, close-quarters combat. The catch: you’re gear-dependent and unforgiving, so a missed engage near an extraction point can get you third-partied. Pick your moment and respect the retreat timing.
Counters / Countered By
- You counter: Sorcerers (flank into their weak melee range) and Seers (your anti-heal shuts them down).
- Watch out for: The rock-paper-scissors note pairs you with Mercenaries against Blackarrows — but a Mercenary who out-trades you in a straight melee brawl, or any fight where you can’t land a clean stealth opener, turns against you.
Tips
- Never brawl — flank, burst, vanish. If you’re trading hits, you’ve already lost.
- Invest in your weapon; the class is gear-dependent.
- Use stamina drain to stop targets from blocking or fleeing.
- Hunt enemy Seers — your anti-heal makes you their hardest matchup.
Alias note: The Shadowstrix is the stealth “rogue” class.
