Overview / Fantasy
The Seer is “a mystical class focused on vision, control, support, and tactical awareness” — the game’s dedicated support. It channels “Mysti’s divine magic to heal wounds, dispel curses, and summon runic totems for area buffs.” Mechanically it’s forgiving to execute but demands strong game knowledge: the beta compendium sums it up as “low mechanics, high game-knowledge.”
In a coordinated trio the Seer is invaluable — it keeps the squad alive and buffed. Solo, it’s the weakest pick in the game right now, which is why it sits in C tier.

Playstyle & Strengths
- Healing & shielding. The Seer “converts Catalyst into heals/shields” to keep teammates topped up.
- Dispels. It clears curses and debuffs off allies.
- Area buffs. “Summon runic totems for area buffs,” plus the Beacon of Fortitude aura.
- Utility damage. Solar Nova delivers an AoE blind for control.
- Force multiplier. In a full trio, the Seer makes every other class noticeably stronger.
Weaknesses
The Seer’s problem is self-sufficiency. “Outside of a full three-player squad, Seers lack self-sustainability and clear speed, making solo play a slog.” It’s “currently considered the weakest class in solo play.” You’re built to support others, so without a team to protect and amplify, you fall flat — and you’re a prime target for a Shadowstrix, whose anti-heal toolkit is designed to shut you down.
Abilities & Archetypes
The Seer’s two paths split between pure support and the offensive Blasphemer path.
Core support skills include:
- Catalyst → heals/shields conversion.
- Beacon of Fortitude — a protective aura.
- Solar Nova — an AoE blind.
- Healing, shielding, and dispels round out the kit.
Recommended Build & Talents
Talents are reassignable, so build to your squad’s needs.
- Trio support (default): Maximize healing, shielding, and Beacon of Fortitude uptime, with Solar Nova for clutch peels. This is where the Seer earns its keep.
- More aggression: Take the Blasphemer path (below) for offensive options when your team doesn’t need a pure healer.
- General rule: The class is low-mechanics but high game-knowledge — your value comes from positioning, target priority, and timing your dispels and shields, not from twitch execution.
See Builds & Talents for the shared system.
The Blasphemer Path
The Blasphemer Seer path, added in Beta 3, “adds more offensive options” for players who want to do more than heal. It’s a path within the Seer — not a separate class — and the developers have used it as a reference point for how exclusive playstyles work, describing a future addition as “closer in gameplay to the ‘Blasphemer.’” If you find pure support too passive, the Blasphemer path is the Seer’s answer.
PvP & PvE Notes
In PvE the Seer keeps a trio healthy and buffed through tough pulls; solo, clear speed suffers badly. In PvP you’re the backbone of a team comp but a liability alone — and the Shadowstrix’s anti-heal makes you its favorite target. Stay near your squad, line of sight your healers, and never get caught out of position. See PvP & PvPvE.
Counters / Countered By
- You enable: Your whole squad — heals, shields, dispels, and buffs make every teammate tankier and stronger.
- Countered by: Shadowstrix, whose stealth burst and anti-heal directly neutralize your kit; and solo play in general, where you lack self-sustain.
Tips
- Play in a trio — solo Seer is a slog.
- Prioritize dispels and shields; timing beats raw healing output.
- Take the Blasphemer path if you want offense over pure support.
- Stay behind your frontline and watch for flanking Shadowstrix.
