Mistfall Hunter launches July 29, 2026 on PC (Steam), PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, with crossplay confirmed across all three. If you just want the date and platforms, that’s it. The rest of this page covers the details — Game Pass, free-to-play, pricing, and what we know about specs.
⚠️ Pricing not yet announced. No retail price or paid editions have been officially confirmed. Xbox has confirmed a free-to-play beta and Game Pass in July 2026, but the full launch business model isn’t priced yet.
Release Date
The full launch date is July 29, 2026, confirmed for all three platforms at once. There’s no staggered console-vs-PC rollout — PS5, Xbox Series, and PC players all get it the same day. Ahead of that, the game is running an open beta in June (see Demo & Beta) and appearing at Steam Next Fest with the new Withered Knight class.

Mistfall Hunter ships on:
- PC via Steam (app ID 3282300), published by Skystone Games and developed by Bellring Games.
- PlayStation 5.
- Xbox Series X|S.
It’s a third-person PvPvE extraction RPG — dungeon crawling, survival, and PvP rolled together — playable solo or in a trio (3-player co-op). There’s no confirmed last-gen (PS4 / Xbox One) or Switch version; it’s a current-gen-and-PC release.
Crossplay
Yes — crossplay is confirmed. Per the developers, cross-platform play is supported across PS5, Xbox, and PC. That means you can party up with friends regardless of which platform they’re on, which matters a lot for a game built around trios.
Free-to-Play & Game Pass
The open beta is free-to-play on Xbox Series X|S and PC, and Mistfall Hunter is coming to Xbox Game Pass in July 2026, lined up with the full launch month. So if you have Game Pass, you’ll have a way in at launch.
What’s not confirmed is whether the standalone game is free-to-play at full release across every platform. The free beta and Game Pass arrival are official; the retail business model isn’t. Treat “is it F2P at launch?” as open until the studio says so.
System Requirements
Full PC system requirements haven’t been officially detailed in the sources we track. The game uses lock-free, action-based third-person combat (Elden Ring-flavored) and a Nordic dark-fantasy presentation, so plan for a typical modern action-RPG PC build. We’ll update this section with confirmed specs as they’re published — check News & Updates.
Player Count, Steam Charts & Steam Deck
Because Mistfall Hunter is pre-launch, there’s no meaningful Steam Charts player-count history yet, and Steam Deck Verified status hasn’t been confirmed. The Steam page (app 3282300) is the place those numbers will appear once the game is live. The open beta in June is the first real chance to see concurrent player numbers.
